I am continually amazed by the talent of the hosts of the Catholic Carnival. Sanctus Christopher has done a wonderful job with Catholic Carnival 213. Set aside some quite time to read through some of the great posts for this week. When you are finished I would suggest taking some time to look at the beautiful pictures taken by the host and his daughter of the churches in their area.

Catholic Carnival 207 is based on the captainMardi Gras parades which mark the Carnival season in New Orleans. The season begins on January 6 and ends on Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday.
